Don’t let anyone diminish your progress.
It’s okay to have a partner, for example having a work-out buddy will help keep you accountable for going to the gym.
Just make sure that you’re checking your progress against yourself and not your friend.
Maybe they got an A on the last test and you got a B. It doesn’t matter that they got an A – it matters that the exact percent of your B is even .5% higher than your last test. It can be .1%. As long as you worked and you improved, you did it. You achieved.
