Imagine

This is one of my favorite quotes to reflect on. I read it every time my heart breaks, every time I was so sure of “the one” but I think we can broaden the quote…or narrow it. Make it specific to you.

If you can put that much work into a painting that didn’t turn out right, imagine how much you can put into one that turns out perfectly?

If you can have that much compassion for a stranger, imagine how much you can have for a loved one?

Things don’t always turn out how we want, but it’s our reactions to those things that matter most, isn’t it?

You may be hurting now, but something is coming. Something big. Something you’re going to get so excited about. Just imagine…what that could be.
