But It’s Not

“When you’re young, everything feels like the end of the world, but it’s not” – 17 Again

Remember the first time something terrible happened? Your first heartbreak, the first time you lost someone, the first time you realized there is evil in the world…

The first time carries a lot of weight. It feels like the world is crashing down, the walls are caving in, like you won’t survive.

But you did.

You’re still here, still fighting, still working toward something.

This is not to say your feelings don’t matter because they do – they matter so much.

Feel it all, feel everything because feelings help you decided what to do next and help you remember how to avoid the situation in the future if possible.

Just remember that sometimes things feel like the end of the world, but it’s not.
