Ask yourself this question and make a list of the answers.
For each answer, make a list of worst case scenarios, should you decide to go through with the action.
Now, cross out every unrealistic worst case scenario.
If the remaining worst case scenarios do not include dying, harming someone or yourself, or something else along those lines, and you feel you could gain something positive from trying, then try it.
Conquering your fears is one of the most rewarding experiences.
Take your time, you don’t have to do everything in a day. Keep returning to your list – crossing off the fears you overcame and keeping a journal of the positives you gained from it.
