I completed my 30 day yoga challenge and loved it so much I started a new one!
The new challenge had a daily manta or affirmation, the first being “I Accept.”
In yoga, this refers to accepting myself where I am in my practice. If I can’t straighten my leg fully or duplicate a pose the way the instructor does it, rather than becoming angry and frustrated, I need to accept myself with my current level as a beginner and work toward improved strength and flexibility.
I urge you to apply this to whatever you’re working toward. When you get up each morning, commit to accepting yourself where you are.
You’re exactly where you need to be.
