Relaxation Guilt

Today’s Shine text talked about relaxation guilt. Some of us feel guilty when we aren’t actively doing something and feel we aren’t being productive. 

As a writer, I sometimes get blocked, and one of the things I’ve learned is that I have to write when I’m inspired. It proves much more difficult to plan a time to write and just sit down and expect the words to flow. 

When it comes to reaching out goals, rest is just as important as activity, and even setting the goal. 

Don’t forget to rest this weekend. Take time to recharge your body and mind each day to help you push forward even stronger.
